*ISLAMABAD: *Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad in a latest compliedranking remained successful to retain its global position among top 500universities composed by the United States News and World Report.
According to Global Ranking 2019, QAU stood at 76th among hundred bestuniversities in Asia, the only Pakistani university to achieve this laurelfor the country.
The QAU grabbed 46.6 global score, while Agha Khan University Karachistands at number 572 in the same world ranking.
United States News and World Report is a leading US-based publisher ofeducation analysis and rankings with 33-year experience. The ranking, basedon university’s academic research and reputation, allows students tocompare universities around the world.
The United States stayed the global leader among research universities,with many US universities dominating the list of top schools. The BestGlobal Universities rankings were based on data and metrics provided byThomson Reuters InCitesTM research analytics solutions — focus oninstitutions’ research overall.
