Indian troops launch cordon and search operation in Bandipura in Occupied Kashmir

In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have booked the illegally detained senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Masarrat Aalam Butt, under draconian law, Public Safety Act, for the 36th time.

The High Court of the occupied territory had quashed the 35th PSA detention of Masarrat Aalam on 26th October, 2017 and ordered his release.

However, Indian police re-arrested him on Friday last from the premises of Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu immediately after his release.

Masarrat Aalam Butt was arrested in October 2010 for spearheading mass uprising that year and since then, barring a few weeks, he has been kept under illegal detention.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leaders, including Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, Musaddiq Aadil, Bashir Ahmed Qureshi, Shah Wali Muhammad and Shabbir Ahmad Dar visited Baramulla and Kulgam areas and paid tributes to the three youth who were recently martyred by the Indian troops.

On the other hand, Indian troops continued a massive military operation in Kund area of Kulgam district on the fourth consecutive day, on Thursday.

The troops also launched a cordon and search operation in Garoora area of Bandipora district, on Thursday, causing huge inconvenience to the local people.
