British producer and former PTI chairman’s wife, Jemima Goldsmith, haspublicly called on her country’s Home Secretary to apologize for disgracingand making false accusations against Pakistanis.
Following a decision from the media regulator, while expressing her viewson social media platform X, Jemima Goldsmith wrote, “The British HomeSecretary Sowila Braverman should seek forgiveness for her false claims.”
She further wrote, “Sowila had claimed that grooming gangs involved inchild sexual exploitation in the UK are predominantly composed of Britishmen of Pakistani heritage. The media regulator has determined that SowilaBraverman’s statement is baseless and misleading.”
Jemima revealed in her post that the media regulator and the Home Office’sinvestigation found that a majority of those involved in sexual crimes inthe UK are from the white community.
