ISLAMABAD – Central Development Working Party has approved nine projectsworth 40 billion rupees and recommended two projects worth 55.5 billionrupees to Executive Committee of the National Economic Council forconsideration.
The meeting of CDWP was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Deputy ChairmanPlanning Commission Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan in the chair.
A project named “Establishment of Regional Grid in Gilgit- BaltistanPhase-1” worth 4959.187 million rupees was also approved by CDWP.
Another project titled “220 Kv Nawab Shah Substation” worth 6291.80 millionrupees was approved.
The meeting also gave approval to project on “220 Kv Larkana Newsubstations” worth 6449.40 million rupees.
The forum accorded assent to “Procurement of 220 Kv Mibile Grid stationalong with the Emergency Recovery of System and 500 Kv shunt Reactors forEmergency Services” worth 6978.95 million rupees.
A project titled “220 KV Swabi Substation” worth 6399.84 million rupees wasalso approved in the meeting.
The CDWP also approved a project namely “Pakistan Research Reactor-3” worth4671.050 million rupees in Science and Technology sector.
Another project of the same field namely “Establishment of Campus, NationalUniversity of Technology Islamabad” worth 2878.610 million rupees also gotapproval of the meeting.
A project titled “Strengthening and up-gradation of the Nursing andMidwifery sub sector within the health sector in Pakistan” worth 27908.545million rupees was recommended to ECNEC.
Another project titled “Establishment of Safe Blood Transfusion ServiceProject Phase-11” worth 863.367 million rupees was approved in the meeting.
A project titled “Establishment of Medical Device Development Canter atNational University of Science & Technology Islamabad” worth 331.12 millionrupees was also approved by CDWP.
Another project related to Water & Resources titled “National Program forEnhancing Command area in Barani areas of Pakistan” worth 27526.369 millionrupees was recommended to ECNEC.
