Pakistan may not go for IMF bailout package: Report

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has hinted that Pakistan may notseek IMF bailout package as country is in contact with the friendlycountries over the economic crisis.

He said that Pakistan might not have to approach the International MonetaryFund (IMF) for loans.

In a meeting with journalist bodies, the prime minister said he hopes thegovernment would be able to fix economic issues soon with its policies.

The government is also in contact with friendly countries for resolution ofeconomic issues, he said.

The government recently announced his decision its approach IMF amid severecriticism from opposition for taking a U-turn on the issue.
