*ISLAMABAD – Federal Board of Revenue has intensified crackdown against thetax defaulters.*
*FBR has served another 154 notices to suspected tax defaulters on Tuesday.*
These notices have been served to those resourceful people who purchasedproperty worth Rs20 million, bought 1800 cc automobiles and earned rentalincomes of Rs10 million a year but didn’t file their income tax returns.
Earlier this month, the PTI government kicked off a campaign against taxevaders and served notices to 244 suspects. The finance minister then saidthe campaign will extend to the thousands suspected of evading taxes.
