In Islamabad, an incident unfolded involving the discovery of a suspiciousbag near the Secretariat police station. This bag, which raised concerns,was found to contain a troubling assortment of items, including handgrenades, a pistol, bullets, and a detailed map of the Red Zone buildings.The Islamabad police were quick to respond to this discovery.
The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) spokesperson has confirmed thatspecialized teams are currently conducting an inspection of the recoveredarms and ammunition. Among the items retrieved from the bag are three handgrenades, two magazines, 50 bullets, and a pistol. This discovery hasunderstandably heightened security concerns in the area.
Furthermore, in response to the situation, a map outlining the Red Zonebuildings was also uncovered in the same vicinity. Given the potentialrisks associated with these findings, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) hasbeen called to the scene. At present, a clearance operation is activelyunderway to ensure the safety and security of the area.
