Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga has strongly criticized the ICC,saying that in the Asia Cup, a team was favored that will have detrimentaleffects.
In a statement, he said that there has been a sudden change in thetournament’s rules, which is wrong. By rescheduling the match in favor ofthe Indian team, there was an unfair advantage.
Arjuna Ranatunga said that when all this was happening, where was the AsianCricket Council and ICC? One board is powerful, one person is powerful;this is not how it should work.
