Five Pakistani key players including Nasim Shah sold out in International T20 league

For the 2024 T20 tournament in South Africa, 122 players from 14 differentcountries have registered, including five Pakistani cricketers. Accordingto the news website “Propakistani,” the Pakistani players registered forthe South African tournament are Nasim Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaan Masood,Osama Mir, and Usman Qadir.

According to the report, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaan Masood, and Nasim Shah havebeen priced at $44,550 each (approximately 13.2 million Pakistani Rupees)as reserves, while Usman Qadir and Osama Mir have been placed in thecategory with a price of $22,275 each (approximately 6.6 million PakistaniRupees).

It’s worth noting that former Pakistani cricketer Hammad Azam has alsoregistered for the tournament as an American player. It should be notedthat last year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not grant aNo-Objection Certificate (NOC) to Pakistani players for participation inauctions.

Furthermore, it’s important to mention that the team owners for the SouthAfrican T20 tournament are from India, which has made it unlikely forPakistani players to have contracts with these teams
