In the Super Four stage of the 2023 Asia Cup, following Bangladesh’svictory over India, the national team has risen to the second position inthe One Day International (ODI) rankings. While Australia’s team stillholds the top spot in the rankings, their points have reduced to 115 aftera defeat in the final ODI against South Africa, leaving them with only adecimal points advantage over Pakistan.
The Pakistani team now stands at second place with 115 points, India is inthird place with 114 points, and defending champions England, after asuccessful ODI series against New Zealand, have moved up to fourth placewith 105 points.
South Africa follows with 104 points, New Zealand with 100 points,Bangladesh’s team is in seventh place with 94 points, Sri Lanka with 93points in eighth place, and Afghanistan’s team holds ninth place with 80points. Meanwhile, the West Indies team, the former World Champions from1975 and 1979, is in the tenth position with 68 points
