Sheikh Rasheed, the leader of the Awami Muslim League (AML), along with twoof his relatives, was apprehended at his residence in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
While the police did not officially confirm the arrest, Sheikh Rasheed’slawyer, Sardar Abdur Razak, confirmed the arrest.
Sardar Abdul Razzak Khan, the lawyer, revealed that Sheikh Rashid was takeninto custody by individuals in plain clothes and transported to anundisclosed location. In addition to Sheikh Rashid, his nephew SheikhShakir and a household employee named Imran were also arrested.
