LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau on Thursday arrested MuhammadAkram Ashraf Gondal, former director general of Punjab Excise and Taxationgeneral in liquor licence case.
According to NAB sources, the anti-graft body apprehended Akram AshrafGondal on the charges of issuing liquor license to a private hotelillegally.
The sources said the NAB will soon release details about the detention andcharges against Akram Ashraf Gondal soon. It is pertinent to mention herethat the former director general had appeared before the NAB several many times but he failed to prove his innocence in the liquor licence case.
