*BAHAWALPUR – A rape victim girl committed suicide in Khairpur Tamewali,Bahawalpur on Thursday. *
The victim’s father had been visiting the police station for justice, butthe police continued to talk about assembling both parties instead ofregistering a case.
Before committing suicide, the victim said to her father that he would livewith pride from tomorrow and took poison.
When 92 News aired the news about the incident, the police registered acase and arrested the accused Luqman.

Bahawalpur DPO Sohaib Ashraf said that he had detained SHO Anwarul Haq,Investigation Officer ASI Ashfaq and Moharar Muhammad Siddique for notproviding justice to the victim.
He said that he had met the victim family and assured her of justice.
