ISLAMABAD – UK’s Home Secretary Sajid Javid held an important meeting withthe Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

He called on Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday todiscussed issues of mutual interest.

Foreign Minister Qureshi emphasized on the need to transform the historicties between Pakistan and United Kingdom into a strategic partnership.

FM received British Home Secretary Sajid Javid at the Foreign Office today.FM and British Home Secretary deliberated on cooperation in areas of mutualinterest, including regional security, counter terrorism, asset recovery,organized crime & money laundering .

The two also exchanged views on regional security, counter-terrorism,return of Pakistani assets and money laundering.

Sajid Javid expressed the desire of the British government to strengthenbilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
