ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Saudi Arabia onSeptember 18 for his first trip since taking oath as the country’s premier,Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi confirmed on Monday.
The chief of army staff may accompany the premier on the one-day visit.
During his visit, Prime Minister Khan is expected to meet Crown PrinceMohammad Bin Salman, who is serving as the country’s first deputy primeminister.
Aid of $6 billion to $8 billion from the Islamic Development Bank isexpected to be discussed.
