*KHUSHAB – Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of NationalAssembly Shakir Bashir Awan has been booked for raping a girl with five ofhis accomplices.*
A school teacher registered a case against Shakir Awan in which she accusedthe former PML-N MNA of inviting her to his house on the pretext ofproviding her job and raping her, ARY News has reported.
The woman claimed that Awan said that he would help her find a good job butwhen she reached his residence, Awan and five of his accomplices raped herone by one.
She maintained that she was also threatened with dire consequences forpursuing the case.
The politician and former MNA, however, claims that this case has beenregistered on the behest of his political opponents.
