A freight train going to Karachi from Lahore derailed near the Kotribridge.Accordingto the Railway Police, the traffic on the down track has been suspendedafter derailing the bogie of the freight train.
The Railway Police confirmed that the incident took place while crossingKotri Bridge.The railway staff reached the spot to bring the bogie back on the track butthe traffic was suspended on the down track till filing this report.
To a query, Kotre Railway Station Superintendent Ghani Abbasi confirmed theincident of derailing a bogie of the freight train but avoided providingdetails of the reason for it.
