ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information andBroadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says digitalization of PakistanTelevision will be ensured to avoid incidents like interruption in PrimeMinister Imran Khan’s speech on 11th of this month.
Speaking during the meeting of National Assembly’s Standing Committee onInformation and Broadcasting in Islamabad today, she said Prime Minister’sspeech was in HD video while PTV system was SD and due to mismatch of thetechnology the incident happened.
Firdous Ashiq also clarified that the message regarding broadcasting of thespeech at 9.15 pm was also wrong.
