Twitter has been working on the development of a paid version of itsplatform. Recently, Jane Manchun Wong, who usually spots updates before therelease, spotted that subscription service will be called the ‘TwitterBlue’ and will come with features like ‘Undo Tweets’ and ‘Collections’.
The collection feature will allow Twitter Blue users to save and organizetheir favorite tweets into collections to easily find them later. Othersocial media platforms including Facebook and Instagram already offer asimilar feature. They even allow users to categorize the saved posts basedon their genre.
Alongside this feature, Twitter will also bundle the ‘Undo Tweet’ functionto its premium service. This feature looks similar to Gmail’s ‘undo send’button. Like Google, Twitter will adjust the duration of the undo Tweettimer from 5 seconds to up to 30 seconds.
The subscription service will not be limited to only these two features. Itis expected to come bundled with several useful features that will not bemade available to free-tier users. It might offer a free trial, but that isabout it.
Twitter’s new paid platform is still in the development phases. Hence, itis not going to launch anytime soon.
