PARIS – Hollywood Actresses from around the globe are shining in Cannesfilm festival. Where new styles and bold statements are seen rocking thered carpet with all the attention on one side people are distracted fromwhat is happening in Gaza.
However not everyone was busy partying and posing. Lebanese actress ManalIssa stood up in front of the world protesting against the innocent deathsin Gaza.
She held a sign saying “stop the attack on Gaza”. Dressed in all black thisactress made sure she became a voice for the silenced ones.
This peaceful protest was seen on the red carpet before the premiere of‘Solo: A Star Wars story’.
Cherry on the top was when Hollywood actor Benicio del Toro joined thePalestinian actors at the Cannes film festival to support the cause.
