LAHORE – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad ChaudhrySaturday announced to book Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader RanaSanaullah under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The newly appointed minister while speaking with press reporters mentionedthat the opposition party leader threatened the Punjab chief secretary andother bureaucrats during his media talk on Friday (April 16).
Chaudhry referred to the language of former provincial law minister same asMuttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder used back in the day. Those days aregone when statesmen illegally occupied government-owned land and threatenedofficials.
Commenting on the opposition allegations, Chaudhry refuted to demolish theSharif family’s Jati Umra residence.
Earlier, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awansaid that Sana Ullah’s statements are highly condemnable. Goons of PML-Nshould not be in any misunderstanding as the government is standing firmbehind bureaucracy.
