*ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) on Wednesday unveiled the details ofPrime Minister Imran Khan’s second visit to China since coming to power inAugust last year.*
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Khan isvisiting China from April 25 to 28 to attend the 2nd Belt and Road Forum inBeijing, the FO said in a statement.
The forum will be inaugurated by President Xi Jinping on 26 April.
During the visit, PM Khan will be accompanied by a ministerial delegation.“He will deliver a keynote speech in the opening ceremony of the forum andparticipate in the Leaders’ Round Table,” FO’s statement read.
The premier would also hold meetings with several top government officialsand business leaders, it added.
In addition to participating in the Belt and Road Forum, the prime ministerwould also hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier LiKeqiang, as per the Foreign Ministry.
“Pakistan and China will also sign several MoUs and agreements to enhancebilateral cooperation in diverse areas.”
Following the closing of forum, PM Khan will attend Beijing InternationalHorticulture Exhibition-2019 and address Pakistan Trade and InvestmentConference.
