KARACHI: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam on thebehalf of the police department apologized to the family of a minor boy,Ahsan.
On April 16, a 19-month-old boy, Ahsan was killed during alleged shootoutbetween suspects and police at Karachi’s University Road.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday the IGP determined not to letsuch incidents repeated in future. He said that he has instructed policeofficials to conduct a special training session to police personnel atprovince level.
The police chief said that Sindh police express deep sorrow over thechild’s death.
