SRINAGAR: Militants on Tuesday opened fire upon Shopian Police Station inOccupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The militants fled after firing several rounds. No loss of life has beenreported so far. The area has, meanwhile, been cordoned off, Zee News hasreported.

Earlier this month 13 militants were martyred in counter-insurgencyoperations in three different areas in which three Army jawans and twocivilians were also killed.
