PM Khan makes a big announcement for NZ Mosque massacre hero Naeem Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday announced that New Zealandmosque massacre hero Mian Naeem Rashid will be honoured with a nationalaward for his bravery.

Naeem Rashid and his son Talha Naeem tried to intercept the shooter, butthey were shot dead in their attempt. Naeem and Talha, who hailed fromAbbottabad, were injured as they attempted to overpower the attacker andlater succumbed to their injuries.

Making the announcement, the premier wrote on Twitter: “We stand ready toextend all our support to the families of Pakistani victims of theterrorist attack in Christchurch.

Pakistan is proud of Mian Naeem Rashid who was martyred trying to tacklethe White Supremacist terrorist & his courage will be recognized with anational award.”
