Indian government latest actions puts life of Hurriyat leaders at risk in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR – Indian government latest actions puts life of Hurriyat leadersat risk in Occupied Kashmir.

Indian government has withdrawn the security of five Kashmiri leaders andall public facilities extended to them.

A notification of dropping the security cover has also been released by theIndian ministry of interior.

According to the communique, security granted to five Hurriyat leaders –Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Abdul Ghani Butt, Bilal Loon, Hashim Qureshi andShabbir Shah – has been withdrawn at the same time directives forimmediately withdrawing official facilities extended to the leaders hasalso been issued.

Pakistan strongly rejected allegations levelled by the Modi government andmedia linking the February 14 suicide attack in occupied Kashmir whichkilled at least 44 Indian paramilitary forces.

“We strongly reject any insinuation by elements in the Indian media andgovernment that seek to link the attack to Pakistan withoutinvestigations,” the Foreign Office (FO) said in a statement.

A suicide car bomber rammed a bus carrying troopers belonging to CentralReserve Police Force (CRPF) in the deadliest attack on Indian occupyingforces there since 2002.
