In terms of Islamic world, Pakistan ranks first, followed by Turkey andEgypt.
Global Firepower Index is an annual ranking that rates a country withrespect to its military strength.
The Global Firepower ranked the armies of 138 countries by taking intoconsideration a number of factors including the diversity of each country’sweapons, manpower, population, geography and its state of development.

The finalized Global Firepower ranking utilizes over 50 individual factorsto determine a given nation’s PowerIndex. Pakistan holds a PwrIndx* ratingof 0.2083.
As per the ranking, Pakistan has an estimated total of 1,204,000 militarypersonnel, total aircraft strength of 1364, total fighter aircraft 357, 100total naval assets and a defence budget of $12,275,000,000.
The US, Russia and China, in that order, are ranked as the three mostpowerful forces, with India coming in at number four ahead of Japan, SouthKorea and France.
