Under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, two mega housing projects havebeen connected with the National grid. Electricity connections have beenapproved and installed at the China Pakistan Investment Corporation’sprojects International Port City and China Pak Golf Estates in Gwadar.
According to an official involved in the project, these are the firstresidential communities in Gwadar private sector where power connectionshad been successfully installed and were considered a milestone in thedevelopment of the city.
CPIC, a leading international developer that is at the forefront of realestate development in Gwadar and promotion of the city globally are thefirst developers in the history of the city to complete their societies andhandover plots to the buyers. Commenting on the achievement Chief EngineerWaqas Moazzam said that this is another great milestone we have deliveredin Gwadar by powering up our projects.
“Now not only is our internal infrastructure complete but the projects arekey ready for people to live in. We have injected Billions of rupees intoGwadar’s economy which can be seen on the ground and in the coming years asGwadar continues to develop CPIC’s projects will be the only choice forboth local and international professionals looking for high quality livingwithin a secure gated community,” he added. CPIC had completed developmentworks on the first two phases of their megaproject International Port Cityin 2019 with all internal infrastructure works complete, together withparks and recreational facilities. A show home is also currently beingbuilt on-site.
