PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman says one hundred billionrupees will be spent annually on development of tribal areas of theprovince.
Addressing a representative tribal Jirga of Khyber district in Peshawar onThursday, he said an amount of twenty-four billion rupees has also beenearmarked in the provincial budget for development of tribal districts.
Shah Farman said government has waved off taxes in the newly merged tribaldistrict for five years and the incentive will be further continued fornext five years as well.
The governor said the government acknowledges the sacrifices of tribalpeople in the war against terror.
