ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar says he hopes that Pakistan isable to embrace the work of judiciary in tackling corruption, deprivationand injustice.
He said this while addressing a full court reference arranged to paytribute his services on his retirement at Supreme Court in Islamabad onThursday.
Designate Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, andother senior judges were present on the occasion.
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar highlighted several important decisionsduring his tenure. He said construction of the Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmanddams is a matter of survival for Pakistan.
