JAMMU: Pakistani troops opened fire at Indian posts along the Line ofControl (LoC) in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Tuesdayevening in retaliation to the Indian Army fire, injuring an Indian ArmyCaptain, officials said.
“There was a ceasefire violation by the Indian Army. They resorted tofiring along the LoC in Chakan Da Bagh area in Poonch this evening.
The Pakistani troops retaliated and the exchange of fire continued tilllate night. The injured Army Captain has been hospitalised, Indian Army hassaid.
The latest ceasefire violation came a day after four Pakistani Army men,were martyred after ceasefire violations by the Indian Army in Poonch.
Authorities had on Monday suspended the cross-LoC bus service betweenChakan Da Bagh and Rawalakot, following heightened tension on the LoC.
