The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has appointed former captain Masbah-ul-Haq as the captain of the Pakistan Over-40 team for the Over 40 Cricket Global Cup. According to the head of the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association, Fouad Ijaz Khan, experienced former captain Masbah-ul-Haq will lead the Pakistan team in the event starting from September 19.
Former Test cricketer and aggressive all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has been appointed as the deputy captain by Masbah-ul-Haq. Star cricketers Shahid Afridi, Hasan Raza, and Mohammad Sami have also been included in the Pakistan team announced for the event.
Fouad Ijaz further mentioned that former fast bowler Jalaluddin has been appointed as the coach of the Pakistan team for the Over 40 Cricket Global Cup, while Azam Khan has been appointed as the manager.
