ISLAMABAD (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday approved eight days judicial remand of main accused Raja Arshad in Fahad Malik murder case till September 23.

The accused Raja Arshad, presented before the ATC judge Kauser Abbass in Islamabad was brought in strict security after end of his three days physical remand in a case of Fahad Malik murder, who is niece of former Chairman Senate, Muhammad Mian Soomro.
During the hearing, request was made to extend remand while the defence counsel said the police was requesting extension in remand again and again despite it had recovered mobile phone during the interrogation.
Moreover, the court approved eight days judicial remand and fixed hearing of the case for September 23.
