LAHORE – Accountability Court announced verdict in Khawaja brothers acquittal petition, media report has revealed.
An accountability court in Lahore on Wednesday rejected Khawaja brothers’ acquittal pleas and extended their judicial remand till October 30 in Paragon Housing case.
The court announced the verdict on Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique’s petitions which was reserved on Monday.
The court rejected the acquittal pleas and judicial authority and extended judicial remand till October 30. The accountability court summoned witnesses for testimony against Khawaja brothers in the next hearing.
The decision was announced in the presence of Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique.
In the previous hearing, the court reserved verdict on acquittal pleas of Khawaja brothers in Paragon Housing Society reference.
