LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hamayun Akhtar Khan breaks silence over his defeat in the by elections.
He has put the blame of his defeat on rising prices in the country.
Speaking on a private TV channel, he said silent voters came out of their homes to protest rising prices.
“I warned prime minister against increasing prices as this would impact the elections,” he added.
He said 32 per cent of votes were cast in the recently held by-elections, adding that few people voted “yet I managed to gain 50,000 votes despite hurdles”.
