In Swabi, a judicial magistrate on Thursday ordered the 14-day judicial remand of PTI leader Asad Qaiser in connection with an alleged corruption case related to the procurement of equipment for Gajju Khan Medical College, as reported by ARY News.
Qaiser, apprehended on November 3 from Bani Gala, Islamabad, faced the charges during a hearing presided over by judicial magistrate Muhammad Khalil. This decision followed a local court granting the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) one-day transit remand for Asad Qaiser in the same corruption case earlier on Monday.
Judicial magistrate Qudratullah facilitated Qaiser's transfer to ACE Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on transit remand. The Anti-Corruption Establishment had arrested the former National Assembly (NA) Speaker due to his alleged involvement in the corruption case related to Gaju Khan Medical College in Swabi.
