ISLAMABAD:Pakistan has expressed its firm commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals for women’s empowerment.
This was stated by the head of Pakistan’s delegation MNA Dr Shezra Mansab Ali Khan while speaking at the 62nd Session of the Commission on Status of Women at the United Nations.
Highlighting Pakistan’s Vision 2025, she said the vision prioritizes gender equality and women development through institutional restructuring, women employment in public sector and their participation in political affairs.
Dr Shizra also expressed Pakistan’s commitment to earnestly work with members of the international community, for a future where ‘no one is left behind’ in the pursuit of self-fulfillment and prosperity. APP/AFP
