KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar reached Bahadurabad office of the party on late Friday night where he was warmly received by Khawaja Izhar, Faisal Zabazwari and Ameen-ul-Haq.
A meeting of senior leaders of MQM-P was held at the Bahadurabad office during which they discussed party’s strategy in the wake of upcoming general elections.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Farooq Sattar said that MQM-P was one unit in the past and will remain the same in future. He said that the unity of Muhajir community is to be maintained at all cost and vowed to maintain this unity before and after the elections.
Farooq Sattar said that he came to Bahadurabad as a worker of MQM-P and added that the purpose of coming here was not to obtain tickets for the upcoming general elections.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while speaking on the occasion said that today’s meeting was enough to answer those who were conspiring against the party for the past four month.
