LAHORE: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf has decided to participate in sit-in protest of PAT that is going to be held at Mall Road in connection with Model Town incident.
According to PTI Spokesperson Naeem ul Haq, decision of PTI participation in PAT sit-in has been taken by party meeting under Chairman Imran Khan.
Naeem ul Haq added that Punjab government has made history of brutality in Model Town incident with the help of police while responsible of the incidents have been awarded with ministries instead of bringing perpetrators to justice.
PTI Spokesperson demanded government in his statement to publish Justice Baqir report over the Model Town incident. He stated that PTI would send its representative delegation to attend sit-in on Mall Road Lahore.
Sources said that Imran Khan will not participate in PAT sit-in however, Ch. Sarwar and other party leaders will take part in protest to express their solidarity with PAT.
