PTI core committee important meeting held in Islamabad with PM Imran KHAN in chair

ISLAMABAD - The core committee's meeting of the PTI was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.

Briefing the media persons after the meeting, Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said meeting reviewed overall political and economic situation in the country.

The participants of meeting appreciated United Nations Security Council for discussing the prevailing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

At domestic front, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has decided to initiate further public-welfare projects both at district and national levels to provide relief to the people affected by heavy rain and snowfall.

Paying tribute to Pakistan's armed forces and law enforcement agencies, she said the nation cannot forget huge sacrifices rendered by security forces to eliminate terrorism and promote peace in the country.
