Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, chairman of the Astronomical Association in the United Arab Emirates, has said that there will be 30 days of Ramadan this year and Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to take place on Monday, May 2, 2022.
He said that the moon of Eid is likely to be formed between 12:28 pm on Saturday and Sunday night.
He said that the moon would be clearly visible in all the Arab countries on Sunday evening. Thus, Sunday will be the 30th day of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday.
