ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson said the IranianAmbassador to Pakistan was called to the Foreign Office to lodge a strongprotest against the ghastly incident.

He said the government of Iran was urged to carry out effective operationagainst the terrorist group responsible for the attack on its side of theborder.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has also strongly denounced the attack onsecurity personnel in Kech district of Balochistan.

In his message, the Prime Minister prayed for the departed souls andcommiserated with the bereaved families. He also prayed for the earlyrecovery of those injured in the attack.

The Prime Minister said the cowardly acts of enemies cannot shake theresolve of our security personnel. He said the terrorist elements will bechased till they are completely wiped off.
