ISLAMABAD – The climate negotiators have agreed to implement guidelines ofthe landmark 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change to help curb globalwarming.
The agreement was reached between negotiators from nearly 200 countries atthe 24th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Conventionon Climate Change in the Polish city of Katowice.
The president of COP24 and state secretary of Poland’s Ministry of Energysaid adopted guidelines package is designed to encourage greater climateaction ambition and benefit people from all walks of life especially themost vulnerable.
