ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif chaired a Corps Commanders meeting in GHQ, Rawalpindi. The briefing was also given to conference participants regarding the internal and external national security.
As per ISPR statement, matters related to operation Zarb-e-Azab were discussed in the meeting. Meeting also reviewed the measures against terrorism. Corps Commanders Conference expressed their satisfaction over the successes of operation Zarb-e-Azab and paid rich tribute to the martyrs of APS.
While addressing the conference, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif said we will remain steadfast on successes and sacrifices of operation Zarb-e-Azab against terrorism. We will never forget the sacrifices of our martyrs and their blood will never go in vain against terrorism.
