Foreign countries including China and Saudi Arabia keen to invest in Pakistan

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin saysmany foreign countries including Saudi Arabia and China are keen to investin Pakistan in various sectors.

Talking to media, he underlined the need of enhancement of exports andproductivity to further improve national economy.

Shaukat Tarin said as the country has sufficient electricity but there isshortage in gas sector, therefore, the people should use more electricityin the winter season and avoid wastage of gas.

He said, although, the IMF has demanded increase in power tariff but thegovernment did not have any intention to put more burden on poor masses.

The Adviser stressed the need for focusing on ‘free market’ to achievegrowth target in near future.
