PM Imran Khan telephones Chairman Senate, expresses serious concerns over Fawad Chaudhry issue

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday has telephoned SenateChairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

PM expressed concerns over the issue of banning Federal InformationMinister Fawad Chaudhry’s entrance in the upper house for name callingduring the session.

PM Khan discussed the matter with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and urgedto resolve it with mutual understanding.

Meanwhile, the chairman also informed the premier that difficulties arebeing faced in holding the session due to Fawad Chaudhry’s aggressivebehavior.

On November 15, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani had banned Fawad Chaudhry’sentrance in the upper house over name calling during the session anddemanded Fawad to tender apology.

However, Fawad Chaudhry made it overtly clear that he would not tenderapology in upper house of the parliament over what was generally perceivedas ‘inappropriate behavior’ by the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
