ISLAMABAD – Former CM Shahbaz Sharif’s sons are likely to be placed on ECL.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recommended to place the names ofthe sons of former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza ShehbazSharif and Salman Shehbaz, on the Exit Control List (ECL).
NAB, in its letter to the Interior Ministry, says that Hamza and Salmanwere under investigation and should not be allowed to leave the country.Both the sons of the former CM were facing a NAB inquiry related to theconstruction of a bridge in Chiniot, which allegedly facilitated the RamzanSugar Mills – owned by the Sharif family.

According to the bureau, Rs200 million were paid from the nationalexchequer for the construction of the bridge.
