Malaysian PM takes the most brave stance in favour of Hamas against Israel

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has stated that Malaysia does notagree with Western pressure to condemn Hamas for its actions in southernIsrael following the recent attacks.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, in a statement released on Monday, said thatMalaysia does not align with Western pressure to condemn the Palestinianmilitary group Hamas for its actions, as they already have ties with Hamasthat will continue.

According to the report, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim revealed that Westernand European countries have urged Malaysia to condemn Hamas in multiplemeetings, but Malaysia has refused to do so.

Malaysian Prime Minister informed the Parliament, “I’ve said that wealready have pre-existing ties with Hamas as a policy, and thisrelationship will continue.”

In just seven days, the Israeli aggression claimed the lives of 724children, a harrowing sight that shook hearts everywhere.

“We also do not agree with the approach of Western and European countriesbecause Hamas achieved success through elections and was chosen by thepeople of Gaza for leadership.”

It’s worth noting that the Muslim-majority Malaysia has been a staunchsupporter of the Palestinian cause, advocating for a peaceful resolution tothe Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, Malaysia does not maintaindiplomatic relations with Israel.

The report mentions that in the past, leaders of Hamas had visitedMalaysia, and they held meetings with the Malaysian Prime Minister.

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak had opposed Israel’s blockadeof Gaza in 2013 and visited the Palestinian territories following aninvitation from Hamas.
