The Islamabad High Court heard Chairman PTI’s plea regarding the ongoingtrial of the Cipher Case within Adiala Jail. Imran Khan had moved the courtagainst the session court and government decision of holding jail trial.
In this case, IHC has ultimately decided to reject Imran Khan’s petition,thereby upholding the continuation of the trial within the confines ofAdiala Jail, citing security concerns as the primary reason for thisdecision.
IHC ruled that there are genuine security concerns to Imran Khan and it isfor his betterment that trial be held inside the jail.
