LAHORE: An accountability court in Lahore adjourned on Friday the NationalAccountability Bureau’s (NAB) plea to close a two-decade-old inquiryagainst PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif over alleged illegal allotment oftwelve plots.
The court put off the hearing due to the presiding officer of the courtbeing on leave. It directed the lawyers representing parties to the case toturn up in court tomorrow to forward their arguments.
The anti-corruption link watchdogshelved the inquiry pending for the past 20 years for want of evidence.
